I had an amazing stay at this hostel! The owner, Edward, was very helpful and the highlight of my experience. He made delicious burgers and fries, and even raised adorable chicks on the property. The swing he built provided a beautiful view of the river, and I was able to spot various wildlife like Jesus lizards, monkeys, birds. The main lobby area had plenty of space to relax in hammocks or play card games. Additionally, the hostel owner can help arrange transportation to places like Rincón de la Vieja, making it convenient and affordable.
Didn't dislike anything about the property. 😊

The local dancing show was a highlight. The pillows were the best we've experienced in Costa Rica. We will definitely be returning!

The hotel was conveniently located near Rincon de la Vieja, making it easy for us to explore the area. the owners were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that we had everything we needed during our stay. the in-house restaurant was a nice bonus, serving delicious meals that we enjoyed. Plus, having a mosquito net on the bed provided added comfort and protection.
The hotel could use some improvement in terms of cleanliness and organization. being situated near a highway meant that there was a significant amount of noise at times, which could be disruptive for light sleepers.
